Their journey through seven magical nights left a profound mark on them. Yet, neither Sayo nor Takahiko ever remembered what had happened in that “night world.” Nearly thirty years have passed. Now, in the year 2010, Sayo’s son, Kai, and Takahiko’s daughter, Rira, find themselves classmates at the same elementary school their parents once attended. Will these two children also be drawn into the world of The Seven Nights’ Tale? Set in contemporary Japan, this gentle yet vivid story follows the subtle changes in Kai and Rira as they grow from age ten to eleven.
